The moment I heard they were pitching Flaherty in this game, I didn't understand it. Didn't make any sense to me. But all we could do is hope for the best and pull for the team. But in life, hoping doesn't get you very far, and here we are.

I just hope they learn from their mistakes, flush, and play better tomorrow. Maybe management will make better decisions for what's left of the season.

I don't understand why everyone is complaining about Flaherty. It wasn't like he gave up 8 runs. If our offense had a pulse no one would be saying anything.

But did they have to pitch Flaherty in front the largest sell out crowd / American League East Championship series and Adam Jones retirement day?

They could have easily managed him to have him go during one of the Cardinals games or any other of the Rays games rather than crap the bed in front of a sell out fan base who you're trying to win back to be regular customers for tickets and merchandise after years of tanking.

Can we get a refund for Adley?  He was sold to us under clear false advertising.  I remember things like Generational Talent being thrown around.   Adley couldnt throw a guy out stealing if he was on the pitchers mound when he threw it.  That certainly was not in the scouting report on switch hitting Jesus.
