Yeah but his biggest problem is walks.   Bringing him in with one out and no one on is a pretty good place to use him.   And I guess Hyde likes him vs lefty hitters and they had a ton coming up.

I never watched Westburg in the minors but it seemed his reputation was as a averagish fielder with good pop.  He has been just the opposite.  I can’t remember the last guy that came up that was the exact opposite of what others were saying about him.  Just odd.

Yeah, I get it, but I was just saying why they pulled him after 19 pitches. They have been doing the exact opposite of stretching him out, they are cutting down his pitches.

Caleb Joseph was a hitter who wasn't much of a catcher defensively in the minors, wasn't he?   And he was just the opposite in the majors.
