Jose Abreu was famous to me before joining MLB as the world's greatest hitter not here, but I'd never looked at his raw Cuban League numbers before.

He debuted at 16; his peak year he hit 450/600/1000!

He doesn't have the MLB counting stats, but for me he's more Albert Pujols/Miguel Cabrera except geopolitics.    It kind of only hit me today that at almost 37 years old the baseball moment of his life is more or less right now.
