The O's went 18-12 in that brutal stretch, then immediately went on a 6-game west coast swing where they went 4-2. Impressive.

Do other teams have any 30 games in 31 days stretches in their schedule?

Remaining, or including stretches already played?   The Yankees had 29 games in 30 days from April 13 - May 12.  They actually had two days off in that stretch, but it began with a doubleheader.

Good to know it wasn't just an isolated quirk of the schedule.

The O's won 17 games in each of April, May and June. Keep doing that and they win the division easily

7-3 (46 RS, 51 RA)

3-7 (32 RS, 50 RA)

Not gonna lie, that was our worst 10 game segment of the year by far, especially on offense.

Jeez, 3-10 in our last 13 games.  Swept by the Cubs, nearly swept by the Yankees.  We rebounded to win the series against the Rangers, but now we've lost the first two against the Marlins and have to win today to prevent being swept.  Not saying the sky is falling or anything, but I'm just very disappointed with how they've played lately.

The Orioles are a .500 team right now, and have been for nearly two months. They are not a bad team that has long losing streaks, but they are far from a team that can have long winning streaks. It's more like win one, lose one, win two, lose two. This is is the reality. If they can maintain a .500 record the rest of the way, it's a 90-win season and a likely payoff spot. But there's no margin for error. Any dip below .500 and they are out of the postseason.

45 runs allowed isn’t amazing or anything, but it’s the fewest the team has allowed since games 61-70.
