Tracking our 13-pitcher class from the 2023 draft

The O’s selected 13 pitchers in the 2023 draft.  I thought a thread tracking their collective progress might be useful.  The numbers before their names signify the draft round.

2.    Jackson Baumeister (7/10/02) At Aberdeen, 18 IP, 1.50 ERA, 1.333 WHIP, 10.5 K/9, 1.62 K/BB.

3.  Kiefer Lord (6/22/02) Injured list, hasn’t played.  Haven’t seen an explanation.

4.  Levi Wells (9/21/01) At Aberdeen, 11 IP, 13.91 ERA, 2.455 WHIP, 12.3 K/9, 1.50 K:BB.

6.  Jacob Cravey (9/28/01)  At Delmarva, 21.2 IP, 4.15 ERA, 7.1 K/9, 1.21 K/BB.

(I’ll edit and add the others later - gotta run)

Bumping this up in hopes of an update. Specifically interested in Kiefer Lord. Great development story...

Thanks for saving me the work.  Looks like Sharkey is on the IL; he hasn’t pitched since May 3.   Bragg has really come on; he allowed 5 ER in his first outing of the year and only 1 ER since.

With a couple of exceptions it’s almost like the bottom of the draft was better than the top of the draft. Also, I was really hopeful about TeddySharkey. Hoped he would move fast.  Was excited about the walk-in song.  Oh well….
