You can be critical without being a schmuck.  But if the account of whet JLC said is correct, he failed miserably at that.  

And, by the way, Elias already has made two very solid moves.

I would argue that he already kind of has, and by all reports, he's still trying to make other moves, including some potentially big swings like Snell.

No. He has not IMO. Unless the bar is set very low.

There is no “try” in pro sports, you either do or you don’t. No participation or try hard awards. It was, is and always should be a results oriented business.

IMO we need more than “solid”.

But as I said, I don’t approve of the name calling or much of any of the antics of JLC.
