He’s the Keegan Akin of the starting rotation. He is hurt. The velo is down. He pitched the most innings he ever pitched last year. It was bound to catch up to him. But yeah let’s rip on the rookie if he struggles the next 2 days against two of the best LHP’s in the league, while the veteran Mullins needs to be sheltered against them. That’s 19 straight AB’s. Doesn’t matter what kind of pitching you have when the offense is this bad (and inconsistent). They’ve scored 3 runs or less in 6 of their last 10 games. That ain’t good enough. Been a frustrating couple of weeks with these blow out losses. What happened to our calling card of never giving up and fighting back? Can’t remember the last time we had a decent sized come back. Hard to be too mad when have gained ground on the Yankees we’ve been .500 or so now for almost a month. OsFanSinceThe80s
The 24 games above .500 mark has become a brick wall for this team. Every time they get to 24 games above .500 they lose in the past couple weeks.
LGOrioles
Just an all around brutal performance. The offense quite literally had 2 good swings (Gunnar’s LD and Westburg’s HR), the defense was horrific, and Kremer showed us all why they need to trade for a legit number 3 starter. Not liking the amount of blow outs they’ve had recently.
Pat Kelly
This team just looks bad on days that don't feature Burns, Grayson or Suarez.
Tryptamine
Hunter Bigge will be making his MLB debut. Hits 100 mph, has plus stuff, control is lacking.
Malike
No team looks great for 162, and this team just plays poorly against garbage teams.
Moose Milligan
Couple grand slams is all we need right here.
baltfan
Maybe it’s better to be blown out more often.

Kremer is not someone you want starting game three of a playoff series and the bullpen needs a couple high leverage relievers.
LGOrioles
Just embarrassing. Have the Orioles pitchers had such an easy game this year? The O’s had one XBH, one walk, and CHC pitchers threw less than 14 pitches per inning. I know they’re not going to mash every game but they’ve had way too many bad offensive games lately. Moshagge3
This was more discouraging than the 19-8 game on Saturday. Poor starting pitching, poor defense, poor hitting.

They’ve certainly had some very good and very bad pitching games recently (as well as offensively) which should even out with time. I do think they need some reinforcements though to replace some of their fringe pitchers (Povich/Baker/Tate).
