Please don’t miss quote me. I’m not saying that he will do nothing, I am saying that he will do nothing significant. I don’t think he’s going to bring in a top reliever or a top starter, much less multiples.

He has to think beyond this season, and the evidence certainly indicates that Mike is unwilling to overpay for an asset, regardless of how important it is.
