We shouldn't care one iota what happens to Hendrickson.

He's fodder. We should care about Trembley burning out the bullpen like he did last season. So far it seems more of the same...

But we should care what happens to the game. We're 2 and 1 on the season. No reason to manage like we're 47 and 72 in August.

It's nice to know that once you think somebody is lower than dirt that you don't care about their health. I'm going to go ahead and put you on ignore now because I can't stand reading your knee jerking illogical posts. Why don't you step away from the internet and go out and manage a team since you are so damn good at it.

Riiight. Baez can go another inning or 2 if need be. We should be playing to win games because the season is not lost yet.

There is no way this team can compete this year and Trembley should be managing as such. The starters need to pitch 6-7 innings a game no matter what happens.

That is the team MacPhail assembled. Trembley shouldn't be trying to win games at all costs with these guys and that is what he is doing.

Winning games is great, but not when it comes at the expense of your younger starters who will have no bullpen to back them up when they need it...

This is such a weird thing to say, especially considering Hendrickson will likely be a crucial part of our bullpen later in this season. So by abusing Hendrickson now, you'd be hurting our bullpen later on anyways. Plus, simply from an ethical standpoint, I disagree with abusing a pitcher just because they aren't one of your premier starters. 92 pitchers in his first outing is plenty.

This is 100 percent wrong.

You realize this is Major League Baseball, right?

THis makes no sense. If winning does not matter, we can just pull our young starters when they come up after five innings and put in the older bullpen arms like Baez, Walker and Sherill and let their tired arms get beat around.
