Wieters with the signature pop up.

Wieters at 26-years old: .249/.329/.435/.764
Rutschman at 26-y old: .262/.326/.416/.742 coming into tonight where he's stunk.

He's worse than Wieters and Wieters wasn't the 1-1 pick. Good thing Gunnar was a 2nd round pick in that draft.

Rutschman is so screwed up it's not even funny. Why in the world he changed into this super upper cut swing and gave up working counts is beyond me.

Yeah, his mechanics are out of whack.  I was watching some highlight videos from before and he does not look the same at all.

I was just kidding around but that’s actually pathetic. Good lord he’s just not good at the plate and been especially pathetic lately.

I really think he’s dealing with a nagging injury. He had a couple of days off for his lower back a few weeks ago.

Good thing the hitting coaches have all this major league experience to help him. Oh wait, they give him information on pitching, and tell him to swing as hard as he can because the nerd computer told them that is the best way to be productive. Meanwhile the Orioles have 3 runs on TWO hits.

Up until the last two months Adley has been the better player. The last two months have been brutal but I have to think Adley is better than this.

He was an OBP machine. I don’t know why he changed but give me back the old Adley instead of Wieters.

Coming into this season, Rutschman never turned into the 30+ homer guy but he was a good OBP guy with .800 plus OPSs.

I guess he decided chicks dig the longball instead of being who he was. Now he's become an absolute zero at the plate.

Henderson hasn't been able to do anything since he got selected for the Home Run Derby.

I've had the feeling that guys who participate in that exhibition are tempted to change their swing and get away from what they were doing when they were helping their team.
