Eating a couple months of sub-.600 OPS from Chourio in the majors seems to be paying dividends by October.

Grayson's too brittle, Adley's too low, Gunnar's too high, Holliday's too rich - an Orioles version of the Chourio "never in MLB" scenario for Basallo might be part of the before Spring Training flush a night like tonight needs.

The Mets did what the O's couldn't do, they were down 2-0 in the 9th and scored 4 runs to win and advance to the NL division series. The O's should sign Pete Alonso!!

The 1st inning of DET-CLE was enjoyable.

At this point the main outcome I'm pulling for is Yankee Elimination, and that helped.

Rough buzzkill as the Dodgers showdown begins.

I am glad for Padres fandom that Peter Seidler's successors have stayed full speed ahead all of 2024, but this may be a blow for how many years they can keep the whole roster top notch.     Jurickson Profar won't be cheap again.

Machado just hit a 2 run home run off of Yamamoto.  I hope the Orioles young players are taking notes.

Just checking in on Gameday, Yankees looking incredibly vulnerable.  Should be the Os out there.  Super lame.  Whichever team wins this series I hope gets knocked out by CLE or DET.

The janks were also gifted 2 runs in the 5th thanks to the home plate ump. I’m so tired of the janks having the smallest strike zone when they bat in all of baseball. Between that and the expanded WC etc it just feels like WWF.

Hard for me to invest in rooting against the janks when they always have the home plate ump in their pocket. Feels like wasted energy.
