I almost punched the wall. I was just complaining to my friend, "why does Huff keep trying to steal?" and then a strike-out throw-out double play? This is a joke! He's got a career 55% SB rate! Pickoffs, botched hit-and-runs...baserunning gambits, all of them, have been all but proven to always cost runs long-term unless you're doing it at a high success rate. What is the fascination with trying to force speed from slow players? Is it Tampa Bay syndrome? They were athletic so we have to be? Can't we just let our (very good) hitters hit and stop getting ourselves out of innings? Christ.

The key with the hit and run....

YOU"VE GOT TO ATTEMPT TO HIT THE %#^*$ BALL!!!! :cussing:

Fellas: Gamecast reads that it was a called strike 3 to Mora but my friend texted me that he swung and missed. If it was a called strike, then that is awful. I can take a swing and miss just a tad better.

So what was it?
