Just tuned in and this is my first look at Bergesen this year. His delivery looks weird to me. Very rushed compared to what I remember.

Wigginton completely bobbles a easy ground out that should have been a double play. Izturis backs him, but bobbles it too and never has a chance to throw anyway, because Wigginton never got out of the way.

To me this looks like more of a case of a groundball pitcher getting unlucky than the Bergesen we saw in the first two starts.

He's making most of his pitches. He clearly pitched around Ichiro, lost it temporarily against the next guy, then got a double-play grounder by Gutierrez but unfortunately it was into Gwynn's 5 1/2 hole for a run-scoring single. Followed up with another ground ball double play ball that Wigginton boots because he's not an MLB third baseman.

Totally agree... another RBI single for Griffey but it's another ground ball.

This is just the classic case of a ground ball pitcher getting unlucky.
