I know he's not a sexy pitcher or anything, but I enjoy watching Berken learning his craft. He's no throw away pitcher.

I've never seen anybody so relaxed getting the ball back from the catcher. He looks like he's just warming up in the bullpen.

He's added a little more of a kick back in his delivery this year (front shoulder up/rear shoulder down) before his release. I usually don't like that because it takes away command. And what I like about him last year was his balance. But if it makes him a little more deceptive and he can keep his good command, he could take another step forward.

That's ... crazy. Montanez checks his swing, but the ball just BARELY grazes the handle of the bat and somehow the catcher catches it. Strike out. That's just crazy bad luck there.
