As much as I love Bergy's performance tonight, I'm disappointed with the offense. 12 hits and 3 runs, which after you factor in the homer by BRob is 2 runs on 11 hits. That's very inefficient. Hopefully they add some more in the 9th.

But if we manage to hold on for the win, then this turns out to be a good thing because it would show that this team is learning to win in a variety of different ways whether it be by slug fest or pitching duel. Well pitched low scoring wins are a premium imo.

I have a theory that he's been able to face really crappy lefties this year, but it would take entirely too long to research it.
