O's Middle Relievers of the 70s and 80s

Well, I was going to comment on the opening post about usage patterns of relievers from 40 years ago. How, yes, they would occasionally pitch 5, 6, 7 innings but then wouldn't be available to pitch for days and were often poorly leveraged for important situations. Then I realized that post was from May of 2011, when I was still in my 30s, the O's hadn't had a postseason game this millennium, and Darren O'Day was on the Texas Rangers' DL.
