White Sox will wear their red '72 throwback uniforms this season

Apparently they are scheduled to wear these for their 13 Sunday home games.

I kind of like them, but why did they wear red in the first place? I remember they used to have red, white, and navy blue, but why the red?

Man, Dick Allen was multi tasking. Smoking and juggling before he took his 42 ounce bat to wreak havoc on opposing pitching. I think that the old uni's from the 70's had zipper tops. I think I see the zipper in the old picture. Cool stuff. Thanks for posting the pictures.
