The fewer innings we trot the bullpen out there, the better they'll be. I'll let Hunter protect an 8run lead for now.

All he did was let 3 guys on, with no outs. The only good part about that is the potential for a DP for the incoming reliever, which might keep the reliever's pitch count lower than it would be otherwise.

I think Hunter would've had a good night if he had ended it after 7 complete shutout innings. Now he's responsible for that man on third, who could score on a sac fly.

If Reynolds doesn't make that error, not only is there at least 1 out, but we don't know for sure that the next 2 would have singled. This is really going to suck for Tommy if those runs score (1 unearned, 2 earned).
