Uh, he lined a double into the left-center gap--unfortunately, Markakis got caught in a rundown halfway down the third-base line. Also, has played good defense in several games as both a starter and late-inning replacement.

We really need some help to round out this team. Would love to give Soriano a try in LF every day if the Cubs eat some of his $$. Get another pitcher. I'd like our chances to stay strong down the wire...
