6 pitches right down the middle when all we need is fly ball, and 6 swinging strikes. Absolutely F'n embarrassing. How pathetic does it get. Yes, they're good with RISP when it comes to walk off runs, but awful during the earlier innings. 1-9 today. What's new.

You can't walk it off everyday, that's why we have to do a better job protecting the lead we get it.

I really wish people would stop *****ing about not playing PERFECT baseball, as if every game a lead is untouchable and we can never fail with runners in scoring position. This is a game of FAILURE. It's who can fail the least and persevere that wins... It's extremely frustrating yes, but damn... Do we really have to point out how much "better" we need to be, anytime we don't shut another team down. They're guys are playing to win too, and sometimes they win the battle. The war is still going!

Mark's BA with RISP is pretty good. Manny had the bigger AB because we could of scored without a hit.

Understood, but I was just pointing out an important and possibly fixable lack in Reynolds' skill set. Hardy, for example, seems to be learning how not to try to pull everything he swings at.

If we counted all the times we had a runner on 3rd this season with less than 2 outs and didnt drive him in...and if we drove that runner in only 10% of the time...we'd have a 5 game lead on the division

The truth is that we have a 56% advance rate with a man on 3rd and less than 2 outs. That's one of the best in the league (league avg is 53%).
