A guy who is learning the knuckler is going to have his bad days. It's worth moving him to Norfolk to see if his knuckler, on his good days, can get experienced hitters out. If it can, then it's just a matter of learning to be consistent with it from one start to the next, and that can be done in AAA just as easily as in AA.
