Even the Rays announcers thought it was going to fall in. Sd Joyce was positioned well and got a good jump on the ball.

If he tagged up and it dropped, he still should have been able to score.

Pearce worked the count and just missed it. Roberts just missed his pitch as well. Not much we can do about that. If they both struck out I'd have more of an issue

I dislike with Boderick that Pearce's at bat was a "great at bat." Unproductive out just isn't great in my book.

He hits the ball a little less hard and it drops in for at least one run and you say what a great at-bat he had.
