His only left-handed starter has to get him 100 pitches. Or six innings. Chen was an out short of that. And he pitched to his ERA. Buck is awesome. He's at fault for nothing.

You seem way too rational for a game thread. The sky is falling! The sky is falling!

He should sit out the rest of 2014, it gets better with rest.

That makes me happier than it should. Imagine if the Yankees were to become sellers in Jeter's final year.

Pretty freaky if Showalter can manage a team to the playoffs with six 3's and 4's.

That's a lot of bullpen management.

Pretty much what he had to do in 2012. 2013. And so on and so forth.

The problem w/ the O's has always been the starters just don't go deep. They throw a lot of pitches. And barely make it into the 6th inning.

PRP doesn't have a good traffic record here in the states.

O's are 1 for 3 and that is being generous.

PRP injection wastes an extra month on top of the year... ;)

The bullpen has been pitching an inordinately high number of innings as of late.

Expecting Showlater to have them pitch even more than they have been pitching is ......... expecting far too much (from Showlater AND from the bullpen.)
