Machado or Hardy would probably use The Force to anticipate the exact direction the ball would be hit off the bat, and position their glove exactly so they caught it, rather than letting that ball bounce off their glove for two runs.

It's a good thing (for other teams) that scoring isn't done using Machado and Hardy as the meter stick, or most teams would have error totals at the end of the season about two or three times higher than they are now.
