Who is this year's Britton?

I'll be happy if Britton himself continues to be Britton in 2015.

If we get an additional bullpen arm that has a season like he (Britton) had in 2014, that will be amazing (and great for all Oriole fans.)

How about Wesley Wright? I think he can have a breakout year as part of an elite bullpen group on a good team.

For the record, I'm going with Christian Walker. I think his numbers force a mid-year call up. Davis to RF and Walker to 1B. I believe he is a major leaguer who can produce.

Not all of us will be surprised but I expect Bundy to be throwing BBs in spring training. He won't make the team, but will be back to his old self.

This is what I am looking for as much as the health of Manny and Matt.

Isn't the key here, this year's Britton is somebody that last year was hardly expected to make the roster, show up and was lights out in ST, of course the rest is history.

So who is the fringe player barely expected to keep a spot on the roster, make the change and be an huge impact on the club?

This year we are in a different position in that both our rotation and bullpen seem to be more or less set. Good place to be. For that reason I have a hard time seeing Verrett or Garcia. They will be lucky to stick on the 40-man. I think it is more likely to be a position player.

I was hoping Navarro could be one, but with the addition of Snider I just don't see how he can make the active roster without an injury.

Going way out on a limb here, maybe Dan Ward get a shot and has an impact at C?

Brian Ward? He could absolutely catch in the MLB. I don't think he has the bat for AA.

Not sure he qualifies but going with Jason Garcia. If he lives up to advance notices, sounds like he will make Dylan Bundy look like a soft tosser. Time will tell I guess.

I'll second that (or 3rd that) - other than the part about Bundy. Sounds like the Sawx got caught with their pants down leaving him exposed - so to speak.

At least the way I was thinking. What 25 man roster player of the year before, hanging on by a thread.

Which is I said Lough, some fell he doesn't deserve to be on the team, much like some OH did with Britton last off-season.
