Aside from the promotions below, every Tuesday will be Ollie's Bargain Night. For those games, upper reserve tickets will be $9 when purchased in advance. The team will also have Student Night every Friday, when fans can purchase upper reserve seats for $6 with a valid student ID.

My guess is too late, Buck. The gnomes are already en route on a slow boat from China :D

Showalter went on a hilarious rant about the Orioles giving away a Buck Showalter garden gnome on June 27.

"That's still up in the air," he said. "No, we're not going to do that. Did you see (Norfolk manager) Ron Johnson's last year? R.J. told me, 'Whatever you do, don't let it happen.' He said it was the worst night of his life. He said whatever respect he had among the players was gone."

Showalter made sure to have the Ron Johnson gnomes delivered to his office at Camden Yards.

"Oh yeah, I did. I've got a bunch of them," Showalter said. "First time he came to us in September, it was sitting behind my desk. He said, 'Really? You too?'

"No, we're not going to do that. I mean, I can be bought, but... No. What is the purpose? Do Manny Machado.

"People get up in the morning and they go, 'Honey, are we going to the game today? Hmmm, I don't know. They've got that gnome tonight. Pack up the kids, we're going.' Really?"

Pictures are trickling in of some of the other promotional items. The Hawaiian shirt looks really awesome. I will definitely wear that for the couple times a year when a Hawaiian shirt is appropriate attire. My girlfriend is excited about the wristlet and the sweatshirt and cap both look decent. I hope the apron looks better in person than it does on the mockup, I hope the stars blend in with the logo a little more seamlessly.

With the plaid floppy hat, I bet you get a free bowl of soup, huh? :D

Match that up with the Hawaiian shirt, a pair of Bermuda shorts, white socks, and sandals, and you'd be the hit of the party at a retirement village in Florida.

Heh, I borrowed a Hawaiian shirt last year from my Grandfather for a tropical island murder mystery party. Not really sure of any other appropriate venues to wear a Hawaiian shirt, but I'm sure I can come up with some.
