At this point, which of Tampa, Toronto and New York poses the biggest threat?

Toronto has the best team, and deadline acquisitions are wildly overrated.

Tampa is the number 1 opposition at the moment because of the obvious. They grow pitchers down in that region like the farmers grow strawberries.

I think Toronto has the makings of a really good team,but their pitching is tough to overcome in the long run. I do believe they will hang around all season.

New York is tough to handicap because they can spend copious amounts of money to improve, but there has to be players to spend on. I said before the season to some friends if Pineada and Tanaka make over 30 starts apiece they will win the AL EAST. I don't think they will get close though.

Yes, and I think they're also the most likely to go for a big deadline acquisition, such as Hamels.
