MLB Spring Injuries and Concerns.

Toronto Blue Jays minor league pitcher Andrew Case. He got 50 games too. For failing to take a drug test.

I’m going to choose to assume that Case ‘roided up like there’s no tomorrow a day before the test and figured that (a) he’d never pass the test even though there’s probably a decent rate of guys who take them who nonetheless pass; and (b) he figured 50 games beat 80 for the positive PEDs.

Bundy pitched yesterday very well and had no injury concerns.

If he develops like KG, look out. He might be really good if healthy

▪ Robert Andino was hit by a pitch on the side of the head by Edwin Jackson during the team’s intrasquad game. The fastball caught Andino, who went 2 for 2 on Tuesday against UM, on the ear flap of the batting helmet. Andino appeared to be fine as he walked it off and remained in the game.

“I’m OK; my ear isn’t even hot,” Andino later joked. “At least my on-base percentage went up.”
