I thought the same thing. I always think of the “I’m not an athlete, I’m a baseball player” quote.

Pitchers tend to benefit from having a body fat percentage higher than what would be expected of athletes. It is energy to tap into through the grind of a season.

Looks like we’re headed into a 4th-5th straight offseason of worrying about his health. I just hope he’s actually healthy.

Hard to even really consider him for prospect lists at this point.  Seems like such a long shot to ever be able to stay healthy.

I kinda feel we should move on and not consider him a prospect anymore. He's will be 24 next year and keeps getting injured. Brandon Kline comeback might be the ceiling for me.

I feel bad for the kid. All that talent and his body can;t hold up. As a father of a young man who's body gave up on him before he could perform at the highest level, I understand what he must be going through. At least he got that big bonus.

Geez. I hope he invested his bonus. Not being snarky, I seriously hope he was smart with the money. Looks like baseball is unlikely to work out for him.

His dad was a major leaguer who made $18 mm as a pro.    My guess is the money was well invested.
