The rentals have not got as much back except the Beltran trade that is a high upside guy but also a very risky trade.

Yeah he is not even top 100 prospect but still young guy worth the trade from Yankees standpoint for old vetern.

Sure, but his stuff has taken a step back this year. To say he is a #4 pick is overstating his present.

Then why does MLB.com have him ranked behind the guys the Orioles took in the 3rd and 4th rounds in the Orioles' Top 30 prospect list? Hell, they have him ranked behind Little Yaz and Oliver Drake. Both MLB and Fangraphs give him a grade of 45, which is basically 5th starter/setup guy. I'm fairly confident the Phillies believe they can do better with a pick in the early 30s.

I still like the Pirates the best they have a few more top guys then the Yankees though some of them will not be prospects after this year.

That's because it is the Yankees...they always get talked "up." No one complained when they voided Hunter's contract over a physical, but we get torched when we do it. Then they fleece the Reds for a woman beater and no one says a thing, but if we did that I guarantee you they would go all "Ray Rice" on us.

Then pick a list. MLB.com actually has him ranked higher than anyone else. Baseball America doesn't even have him in their Orioles Top 30. The idea that Brian Gonzalez is more valuable than a pick at the end of the first round is just silly.
