I didn't mean Pearce getting more playing time. He was one of the few hitters on this team besides Kim who actually had quality at-bats by fouling off good pitches, working the count, shortening their swing when the ball needed that be put in play, etc.... My issue is with guys like Reimold and Bourn and Stubbs getting more playing time when they aren't half the hitters Kim is.

I understand. I was just pointing out who took at bats away from Kim.

Worst case scenario coming true. O's are back to inept hitting, will get swept by Toronto probably, and Francona is screwing us by resting his players for the rest of this series with Detroit. Gonna probably be 1 out of WC spot going into NY. Hope this doesn't happen, but we are off to a realistic start to this scenario. We will probably need a sweep in NY and Tigers losing 1 game just to force a 1 game playoff for the WC. Just cannot win baseball in September, let alone October when you fail to even put the ball in play offensively in at least 12 of your 27 outs. Hope the FO takes note of this in the offseason.
