As a power hitting bench player with no position, he's better off there, unless an AL team really needs a DH.

He would most likely out hit Beltran, but I'm not sure Houston would replace him.

They allowed him to shop in exchange for a couple more days with the club to get him to today.

I think that would be the one team he may work with. It would not surprise me Orioles trying to keep him out of Houston a team if we make playoffs we may face.  They got Beltran but his knees are always shake and Aoki who could lose a spot to him.

So he's had a few days to drum up a ML job and he's still hanging down at Va Beach?

I guess that poster that was sure he could do better was mistaken.

Yep.  And he's still here.

So he either really likes VA Beach, or no one is offering a ML job.

Weird how a hot streak in the minors doesn't seem to have the same impact on general managers that it does on fans.
