Wellington Castillo is on the 10 Day DL. Retroactive to 5/1. Pena called up from Norfolk. 

Reason on DL: right shoulder tendinitis. No time table has been announced for return

That's a tough one, he's been very impressive. As always, the Os will find a way to scratch out Ws until he's back.

I guess it's pretty obvious that Sisco isnt anywhere near ready defensively. There are a couple of positives out of this. Regular AB's might get and keep Joseph's bat going the rest of the year. Pena will likely catch Ubaldo. Seems like he likes throwing to him.

I read medication. I'm assuming that's muscle relaxers. Just saying, maybe this was aggravated by over use.

Welington Castillo, who was originally scheduled to be the DH for the AA-Bowie Baysox tonight, will have to wait until tomorrow because of the game having been rained out.

From April 29, 2017 through May 12, 2017, Welington Castillo's back up has a slash line of .341/.356/.523/.878.  I would make sure Welington is 100% before I took him off the DL.

Caleb has did great getting the regular AB's, but we don't want to have two worn down C's.

Castillo will be back in a couple of days, and I'm sure Pena will catch today or tomorrow and then we have an off day.
