Mike Wright was called up on Sunday night, and sent right back down the very next day without throwing a single pitch. Some complained that Logan Verrett was being dissed because he just pitched very well in helping the Orioles salvage the final game of the series against the Yankees, and that there was no way that he should be sent down for Mike Wright. It has nothing to do with being dissed, it's simply what the team needs right at that moment. Wilson just pitched a good game when the Orioles needed it badly, and then he gets sent down the very next day. That's life on the Baltimore-Norfolk shuttle.
