From Gaithersburg and went to Quince Orchard HS. Starting RFer but has also played 2B, SS, and 3B, and pitched.

I believe he spent most of the spring playing different positions around the field in order to show his versatility. While in the 17th round you don't EXPECT to get amazing talent, it's always good to give a local guy with some upside a shot.

I've helped cover Conley for the last two years at Towson. He's a highly athletic hitter with a lot of versatility. He's played all outfield positions, third, short and second base and pitched on occasionally during mid week. I dont' know where he fits in, but my guess is second base. He had decent power for a mid-major college team, but not nearly enough to profile out as a corner outfielder. His defense was poor at shortstop. My guess is he plays second.
