Trade Blier. It's not that I don't like the guy. He's been great. But there's no reason to hold onto him if you can something decent. Trading him would solve the roster issue.

There is no hurry on deciding whether to trade or keep Bleier.   The O's FO will have their hands full trying to trade Manny, Jones, Brach and Britton at the July deadline.  Bleier will be there over the off season after the O's know what they got back for their deadline trades.

Why not solve the roster issue by trading Brach or Britton or O'Day?

Bleier and Castro are two of our best players and Scott belongs in the majors at this stage of his development.

Wright to release waivers, Araujo returned to Cubs. Hopefully Brach, Britton, or O'Day are soon traded as well so they can make room for Faulkner too.

The bullpen is one of the only things to be excited about with this team. A lot of young, successful talent and probably more on the way. There's no need to carry the scrubs any longer once the legitimate Major Leaguers are ready to return.

Buck has used Wright as a long reliever when starters are knocked out, a mop up guy and now he is starting to be used in close game.   Like the ninth inning with he O's losing by 2 in the Scherzer/Hess game.

Used in close games? The Orioles are 2-11 in games that Wright pitches this year. He's a garbage time pitcher. One ninth-inning appearance in a game the O's were already losing does not constitute "starting to be used in close games." Heck, the game before that, Buck left Kevin Gausman in to give up seven runs because he didn't want to bring in Wright a moment before he had to.

Wright is a guy who only pitches when the game is already lost. That's an easily replaceable pitcher. Castro or Araujo could take over that role.
