Look at BJ Surhoff.  Played 30 more games than Davis as an Oriole.   Struck 451 times as opposed to Davis' 1304 times.

After he breaks it he needs to do a 2131 impression: the game stops while the banner is revealed against the warehouse. Davis runs around the stadium, high-fiving the few dozen fans that are actually at the game while the music plays.... Come on, you guys know it would be funny.

Shrug.   We knew Davis was going to hold this record when we signed him.    What we didn’t know was that he’d stop hitting dingers so soon.

Although he did get robbed of a blast by Cave last night, and got robbed by the Phils’ 3B with the bases full a couple nights before that. He is definitely hitting the ball with more authority in the 2.0 version, even if that only happens sporadically. I just know it wasn’t happening at all prior to his “rebuild”. It’s still bad, but slightly less bad. Silver linings and all.

Good.  I mean, Cal should have the record because he played for so damn long but he wasn't a strikeout machine.  I feel that Davis is much more fitting.  

Cal's still gotta wear that double play crown, though.

Not sure about that (they might lol) but it certainly will put him in the Orioles Hall of Shame.
