Broxton hit 20 bombs at the ML level once, but he's pretty much a replacement level guy. He's fast. I'd welcome him playing CF for sure, but I'm not sure why he's any better than a guy like Mason Williams. I guess they just want Mason to be their AAA CF.

They will have a four man bench this weekend .Maybe Dwight Smith is a little banged up from yesterday.

Is it certain that Broxton is going to join the major league roster?  Given his age (29) and career trajectory, I think it's more likely that he's done than that he becomes a viable stopgap in CF for the Orioles.  He makes Joey Rickard look like a productive hitter.
