Roch: O's close on MiLB deal for catcher

Buried at the end of his Givens arbitration article was the note that the O's are close to getting a catcher on a MiLB deal.

Well, it might be an MiLB deal but whatever.  Good chance that whoever it is spends some time in Baltimore this summer so it's not like it's completely irrelevant.

Could have been.Some players have decided to take MILB deals with other teams.Heard three or so.

Could see it being Bobby Wilson, Bryan Holaday, Juan Centeno, Rob Brantly, or Jose Lobaton. Guys with MLB experience that bounce around the high minors.
