I'm not sure how they adapt.  And if they don't chase millennials and zoomers they're sunk.  The big 3 leagues need to figure out a way to survive.

The NFL is doing just fine.

The NBA and MLB have perception problems for sure.

Keeping politics out of it would be a help too.  It may not matter to the younger generation right now but it does to the older generation and if you piss them off, they won’t show their kids the sport and encourage them either.

But yea, battling against technology is a big obstacle for these sports.

Their kids are already in their 50's.

The NFL has higher rating, but much of the same problems as the MLB with the average age of a viewer being 50+ years old.

Yes, the NFL isn’t Major League Baseball, which had the oldest average age of its viewers at 57 in 2017.Football’s average age of its viewers was at 50. That’s better. It’s still not the NBA (42) or soccer (39).

SuperBowl viewership hit a 15 year low this year.  In a time where people were apparently starving for sports.

I think a lot of that in the NFL has to do with fantasy football as well.

One of my wife’s best friends early twenties sons is big into Esports. I remember visiting and watching the kid viewing a game on his computer screen. I asked if he preferred playing and he said he did but watching was fun also. I just don’t get it!

My oldest son enjoys watching kids open presents and play with toys.  I didn’t see that one coming.  It’s sooooooo dumb.
