Looks like he took some extremely close pitches, ump was hitter friendly.

So I guess that's it.   Put it in the loss column.   Looking forward to tomorrow night's game, it's on the radio and will be the first game I can see or hear.  And Roch says it will be a 9 inning game.

Nope, that's not it.   They are playing the bottom of the 8th in an 8 inning game with the home team winning.

First baseball game I've ever seen where the outcome is decided but the game is still being played.  All kinds of firsts thanks to Covid rules.   Leadoff double plays, pitchers pitching a perfect inning but taking a loss, etc.

Two former Orioles have batted for Toronto this inning.   Richard Urena, who was in the utility infield mix last year, and Breyvic Valera, who we got in the Manny deal.

And now a 3-run homer.   Sceroler has given up 5 runs in a third of an inning to a collection of scrubs, misfits, and malcontents.

And they called it.

So Toronto wins 13-4 -- on a walkoff home run!
