Weird realization ...... this is the 30th year for the Orioles playing at Oriole Park @Camden Yards. The Orioles played in Memorial Stadium for 37 years/38 seasons.

Good info.

No doubt ...... I think that its totally wrong that he has a weak arm, too. Its not a great arm, but its not Ellsbury or Damon, either.

TBH, I have been surprised by him out there.

OMG, he definitely has a weak arm. Did you see his relay throw to Galvis last night ??? Maybe hes not Ellsbury or Damon, but his arm is well below average.

When a player's bad throwing arm worked in our favor ...... and the time in which I became a life-long Oriole fan, at the age of 6.

Well, they do have stats on that too, but I don’t think they publish them until a larger quantity of data is collected.   Let’s just stipulate that right now MC is a below average LF, and we can leave the exact breakdown of why that is (speed, reaction time, burst, etc. for later).    I think it’s crystal clear from what Hyde said last night that MC is going to continue to get opportunities to improve our there.

Yes I know, but I strongly disagree, and anyone with eyes should send him to 1B or DH. I hope that’s where he goes when Hays returns.

Well, I certainly think that when Hays returns you’ll see less of MC in the outfield, at least so long as Mullins is hitting well enough to warrant remaining in the lineup.

Yes, that OF alignment, with MC at DH, was the best lineup. God Grant that it return soon.

Our lineup is looking real weak right now. The 1.5 seasons we’ve been able to score, which has made games sort of fun to watch. Not this year so far. We miss Alberto vs LHP and Nunez in general. Mountcastle giveth and Mountcastle taketh away. His glove is an issue. Franco and Galvis look bad early.

It's only 13 ABs, but Hanser is hitting well with the Royals, including 3 doubles, especially against RHP; 3 for 8 vs. RHP, 1 for 5 vs. LHP:

.308 / .308 / .538 / .846

Nunez at third just creates yet another Trumbo / Mountcastle (actually Betemit / Reynolds) problem there. DH is not an option; we already have enough DH talent and need, with the constrained bench, players who can man defensive positions competently.
