Bad team do bad things to hurt themselves. This is why I was keeping a low profile during the Orioles 3-0 start to the season. It was nice, but the reality is this team is not good.

When Armstrong is pitching in the 8th inning of a one run game, your bullpen is not good.

Tony, Mountcastle gets the blame for this 100%. Armstrong did his job and we should have had a clean inning.

Sure, no doubt that run was on Mountcastle, but Armstrong gave up two hard hits in that inning and he's not the kind of pitcher teams wan t in the 8th inning of a one run game.

I wouldn't completely absolve Armstrong, as he made 2 hangers when he was ahead in the count.

Scott is better but we used him earlier in a high leverage situation.

Harvey is better but he's made of glass.

And Armstrong did a pretty good job for us last year and I think he pitched in the 8th some.

If we get to the 10th, we'll get an AB with a RISP. Unless our guy gets picked off or caught stealing,

So far we have zero.

We probably don't score here  vs Chapman.  Valdez has to survive the 9th and then in extras starting with the runner on 2nd anything can happen.
