Will someone wiser than I please explain why Leyba, he of the .093 batting average, is on the team? I don’t know why we haven’t called up Jones or McCoy or almost anyone, instead  preferring a castoff from the only team in baseball worse than we are.

That would never happen on the Hangout.  If the O's ever had a Gold Glove, All Star center fielder in the middle of an 8 WAR season, no one would be trying to trade him.
