"Last year I hit the ball really well to the opposite field, but I've been getting pitched in a lot lately so I just got into a pull mode," Henderson said. "But then they started going back away and I've had some trouble snapping back to going the other way. But, I was able to stay on it today and I have a good feel for what to do now and I'm looking forward to keeping it going."

LOL you can tell those aren't the Norfolk announcers in that clip.  They are less than excited to see that 3-run jack.  Impressed you can tell, but not excited!

He very well could end up a better hitter than Adley. Think about if Henderson was coming out this year if he gone to college. He definitely would have been the 1-1. Luckily for us, he's in our system and we got another 1-1 shortstop in Holliday.

Gunnar has a ten game hitting streak going.  Hitting .359/.432/.692 during the streak.

He sounds like a very smart hitter who is very aware of what he needs to do to be successful and how to make the needed adjustments.   

The biggest questions are when and SS or 3B?

How is Henderson’s defense at SS? Does he look like a natural there, does he make it look easy? Does he make the difficult plays with occasional spectacular  or is he just consist make the routine plays type of defender?

He can make a spectacular play and has the arm for SS, but he doesn't throw particularly accurate on the run and while he's athletic enough to still handle shortstop, I think he's going to continue to add good weight on his already 6-2, 210 frame and will be better off at 3B.
