Can't win many games when you give the other team three free runs.  These are the games that are the most frustrating.

The Royals were averaging the second lowest runs scored per game among AL teams coming into today's game. The Orioles (unless there is a ninth inning comeback) have basically gift wrapped a win for the Royals in game one of this doubleheader.

Elias’ roster management is his awful. Maybe he should have actually signed some meaningful players (not necessarily top tier, say Chris Archer?)  in the off-season, just a thought.

Inexcusable to lose to a crappy Royals team  like this.. but losers know how to lose which is what this team is.. all this talk last few days of turning corners etc and this team goes out and lays an egg returning things to normal.

His ERA was 4.61 when I looked a few days ago.  I guess he’s had a couple of good outings.

That same stupid strategy of trying to bring your “closer” (and I use this term loosely) in the eighth and ninth to get outs.  I have always, always, always hated that move.

I actually did look his stats up prior to my response.  Outside the shortened 2020 season, he's been worse for us every year than his 2022 season.
