Maybe they think it’s a comfort thing.  Elias raves about the kid.  I don’t see it, but I hope they are correct.

I can see logic in using him in pen. Either way he needs to command ball better.

The fans have been all over the team to call him up until they actually saw him against MLB hitters. I am fine with pitching him but would prefer lower leverage.

Seems like odd timing.  Zimmermann threw six innings yesterday.  I doubt he’ll be available to pitch before Friday, so why call him up now?
