Yup.

Adley finished second to Trevino in the catcher voting, 141-126.  Urias finished 6th at 3B, tied with Manny Machado.  Hays finished 3rd in LF, Mullins 10th in CF.

Glad Mateo got some deserved official recognition. 

That's strangely high for Hays given his poor metrics this year.

I’m just talking about the merits of how the awards are decided.  As a sophisticated fan, winning the FB award is more meaningful than a GG.   I’m sure that Mateo would rather have won the GG.   Nobody ever says, “he’s a Fielding Bible-caliber shortstop.”

Honestly, I can’t say I’ve ever seen anyone here use that term.  We do discuss who did win/should win/should have won the FB award, but I’ve never seen anyone toss out “Fielding Bible caliber” as a substitute for “Gold Glove caliber.”   Maybe they should.
