On Fangraphs you can sort by reliever IP and he and Baker are tied for 41st in IP. 

To me those numbers show a usage that is pretty much normal. 

Now, a lot of those appearances have been high leverage so that could possibly be extra strain. But there's not much Hyde can do to help that. 

Weird I'm looking at it and he's tied for 6th with 22.  Of course Baker is only up one inning on him and is in a tie for second and Clase, alone in first, has 24.

Basically he's been rode as hard as anyone.
