Hey now, most of the stuff I like is very professionally produced.

Even the early Pixies stuff had Steve Albini doing production.

Devo's first album was Brian Eno.

Wet Leg's debut was produced by the hottest producer in England right now and sounds great.

Get more accurate with your criticism.

I'm not big on Metallica.

Metallica from 90s-present sucks but their first 4 albums were great.

Not talking about the quality of the music.

Wasn't at least one of their early albums infamous for how poor the production was?
